Lil Franky in the Top 50 Pizza Asia-Pacific
“From Salerno to Sidney, going through a lot of training and apprenticeship, it is the path of the brothers Franky and Mattia, born and raised in the city of Prince Arechi. After many international experiences, they chose the center of Tempe for their restaurant to make the authentic Italian pizza. The pizza uses a classic dough, fragrant, and spread out thin. You get red and white pizzas; we recommend the marinara if you're vegan. There is a small choice among appetizers, salads, pasta, and classic Italian desserts. The service is swift and the environment welcoming. They also organize courses that cuisine enthusiasts can take. It is open for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday.”
Franky and Mattia are two pizza brothers born and bred in Salerno, South Italy. As part of Franky’s curriculum, he competed in the Traditional Neapolitan Pizza division at the “Olympics for Association Verace Pizza Napoletana 2019” placing 3rd out of over 200 participants.
After many years working in some of the best pizza establishments around the world and in Sydney, they have now decided to share their passion for excellence at their new pizzeria “Lil Franky”.
The restaurant was named after the brother’s little nephew “Francesco" as a way of keeping their roots and family close to their hearts.
